Street Art: Facing North and side-by side...
This looks like an old Iron-on Resistance work on a now-empty building that used to carry art and antiques. Identities, histories, conditions and narratives of a structure encoded on its skin, just like the lines written on our faces.
About ten feet to the left of the work above lies the remains of an earlier work, partially torn away, altered in meaning by being fragmented.
In physics, there is a much-debated law of the conservation of information, meaning that information is never lost, that it remains somehow encoded in the universe. This work brings that to mind.
