The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in downtown Tampa continues
to show "Epic of the City of Tampa", a 70 foot long photo
collage/installation based on the poems of Tampa Poet laureate James E.
Tokely, Sr. Photographers: Peter Meleragno, Jeff Fay, Fred Smith, Matt
Wiggins, Luis of Art-Taco, David Audet.
Running through October 6 at King Corona Cafe in
Ybor City (1623 7th Avenue) a diorama (8 x 12 feet) paying homage to
American artist Red Grooms is on display. This work is is part of a
larger project planned for the August 2013 Cuban Sandwich Show and was
created by Joe Howden and myself with contributions from Joanna Karpay
and Frances Brown.
