Birth of a Gallery! Galerie 909 Opens.

A new gallery opened on April 17th at 909 22nd St. South, three blocks from the entrance to Soft Water Studios, in a shopping area called the Deuces (for 22nd).

Galerie 909 comes to us via Carla Bristol. Here are a few photographs from opening night. I did a larger photo-essay on FB (go on my page: Luis Gottardi).  The featured artist was William Kwamen-Poh.

It was one of the classiest grand openings I have seen in Saint Petersburg, complete with a musician playing Jazz trumpet in the adjoining courtyard and ethnic food being served.
