The
past few days we have lived through Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Giving
Tuesday, & of course Small Business Saturday. Instead of getting
caught up in these "special" days, make a shift in your habits to
support your local economy by shopping at locally owned, independent
retailers throughout the year.
We
continue to receive new work in from both our national & local
artisans. Make it special and give a unique, handmade gift this
holiday season.
Handmade Furniture: beautiful & functional.

Everyone loves Dr. Seuss. Craftsman House was selected as one of a handful of galleries across the country to represent The Art of Dr. Seuss.
Some images from his books that we are all familiar with, and some of
his "Secret Art" that he created outside of hos many books.
We are really excited about our new hand blown glass pendant lights:
3 different shapes, in various colors, custom made for your home.
And we just received new hand blown glass beer mugs!
Thanks to all who came out for some great concerts here in November. Mike & Ruthy were the surprise show of the year. We already have requests to bring them back. Dan Bern also put on a great show. And of course we were honored to have another pair of sold out shows by Jimmy LaFave with his incredible band.
We
book shows here at Craftsman House with the thought that some people
are going to take a chance on coming to see a performer who they are not
familiar with. So even
if you have never heard of them, you can be sure that it will be an
incredible show if we have booked them here in our intimate listening
room. We would rather skip a month rather than book a sub-par performer. Our shows in December continue this. Verlon
Thompson & Sue Cunningham are two incredible national musicians in
their own right, who are now performing together & coming to
Craftsman House this weekend (see below).
Check below for 2014 concert announcements.
Stop
into the cafe & meet Grace, our new artist-in-residence. She
recently moved down from the cold 'Burg (Pitts) to our sunny 'Burg.
When she's not serving you lunch in the cafe, she can be found in the pottery studio.
She
serves our holiday drinks here hot or cold -- gingerbread lattes,
peppermint mochas, spicy hot chocolate, & spiced ciders.
Have a smart phone? Download the free front flip
app. Each time you stop in, just scan our QR code & get a
scratch-off ticket on your phone. Each ticket is a chance to win a $150
gift card & other great prizes in the gallery & cafe. You can
also use the app to win prizes at a number of other locations in St.
Petersburg.
