2013 Members Show Opening Night Party!

*note change in dates. HOME will close August 18, 2013.
This annual exhibition includes nearly 200 works of art expressing a full spectrum of images and ideas through all media, all from the Morean’s gifted members.  This year’s theme, HOME, is a nod to the growing population of artists that call the Bay area “home” and the fact that artists are setting up studios in the Morean building itself.
Beloved local artist Wade Slater was the Margaret Murphy Steward Best of Show award winner in the Morean's 2012 Members Show. Beginning a new tradition, the Morean is awarding a solo show to the Best of Show winner to coincide with the following year's members showcase.

Attention Members: Want to get feedback on your artwork AND enjoy a meal with like-minded people all in the same evening? Bring your favorite dish and join us as our Morean instructors facilitate a slide-show discussion of images that YOU submit before-hand. Come and see what other artists in the area are doing, and get good advice on your own work.

Don't want to show your work? Just come, bring a dish to share, and enjoy the discussion.

This event is FREE and open to members of the Morean Arts Center and their guests. A cash bar will be available.
