Paper & Pints Fourth Friday, 7:00-9:00 pm February 28, 2014 4903 8th Ave S, Gulfport, FL 33707 Join The Southern Letterpress and Oma Darlin' Press at our studio in Gulfport, FL, as we welcome Visiting Artist, Tracie Pouliot for our monthly Paper & Pints! Enjoy locally crafted beer by our friends at Cycle Brewing and Peg's Cantina & Brew Pub while learning the basics of letterpress and hand printing . For our February session with Tracie, we will explore linocut and stamp-making, using letterpress and hand printing methods to make some fun, colorful Birthday Cards. For $10, you can join us for the Linocut and Stamp-Making Demo. Or you can purchase the Demo & DIY Kit for $20 and try your hand at the craft! FREE local craft beer will be on-hand for all attendees (ages 21 and over, of course). We're excited to report that we had an amazing time at Keep Saint Petersburg Local's Localtopia event, which took place on Saturday, February 1st, at Williams Park in the heart of downtown St. Pete, FL. We posted up on the flatbed of our 1966 GMC truck, Fancy White, with the latest batch of our letterpress printed greeting cards, and met an amazing crew of wonderful folks who showed up celebrate KSPL's 2nd Anniversary.
