Call For Artists: Sitting Pretty

I know this is short notice but we have an opportunity to do a month-long show at the pier and I'm trying to reach all area
artists quickly. We are looking for photography, paintings, or
any other type of art OF the pier or taken FROM the pier or its immediate enviorment (parks surrounding the Pier).

I will be curating the show which is called "Sitting Pretty"

We will hang the show starting 5/6/12 from 1:00-5:00pm through 5/9/12, 1:00-5:00pm daily. An opening reception is scheduled for 5/11/ at 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Conditions to participate:

The Pier has waved the large rental fee and agreed to five things.

First, there will be a $5.00 fee for each image hanged.

Secondly: The Pier has no budget for gallery shows so each participating artist needs to agree to do "Gallery Duty" for four hours (1:00-5:00) for each image hanged. This is mandatory.
(No Gallery person on duty-the room gets locked). If you can't you need to find your own substitute.

Thirdly: The Pier waives all commissions for any sales that occur.

Fourth: Frames don't have to match. Artist writes description and price on day of hanging.

Finally: The Gallery Duty peson will have one free parking space during their duty time. Yeah!
