First Warehouse Art District mural finished.

Work by Center One and Akut. The entire mural.

St.Petersburg's Warehouse Arts District (WAD) is rapidly burgeoning. The epicenter, at Duncan McClellan Glass, as reported here earlier, has a large, block-long mural perpendicular to the facade of the DMG warehouse. Painted by Akut (Damir Tabakovic) and Center One, (Chris James), it is located at 24th St. South and Fifth Avenue South.

On the left, the initial panel painted panel by Akut. Note the contrast between the geometric parts and the landscape & sky in the background. There's a DMG glasswork depicted in the lower right in yellow.

Here was the initial panel by Center One, a kind of interlocking pattern of dystopic, industrial looking pipes/tubing.

Here's a detail of the lower right hand corner of the area in the picture above. There's a trio of Duncan's works shown.

Here is the left 1/3rd of the entire mural, complete with an ornate tag. Above are depictions of Dan Painter works.

It's good to see the work completed. Another mural is going up at Zen Glass, at 27th St and 6th Ave.That one will be painted by BASK and Tes One.

Congratulations to Akut and Center One, Duncan Mc Clellan and Da Painter for a beautiful mural.
