At
Melrose, in central Florida, preparing a space in a church for a
funeral service for an artist. Works were brought in for a requiem show
at tomorrow's service which Peter Stazen and I just finished hanging on
makeshift walls. I knew this artist well, her name was Ramona Stazen,
and she was my wife's mother. She wasn't hip nor famous, idolized
Kinkade, earnestly worked hard for decades, selling hundreds of her
paintings to people who loved them.
Tomorrow this room will be full of people. Now preparing an art table for children. Long night ahead...
#arteverywhere #hauntedbyart #loveart #wishyouwerehere #thisiswhoweare
RIP Ramona Stazen.
