Art Taco: One year old!

Ok, it's been a year as of August 6th. I was so busy I hadn't noticed... year.

Four hundred + posts later, this adventure/journey called Art Taco  continues taking us to fascinating, creative people, engaging art, wild places and moments of revelation. We are lucky to live in the Bay area, a Community rich with driven, talented artists, gallerists, Museum Directors & curators and the other writers who cover the arts here. Art Taco is privileged and grateful to be part of this community.

I want to thank each and every one of my readers, including those of you located around the world for coming here. To those who have consistently, generously, and even lovingly encouraged and supported Art Taco, (yes, you) thank you. Your words, hugs and smiles keep me going.

And we've only just begun.

--- Luis

  2. Thanks for the insightful comments on Spirit Mother, my Teacher's Pet entry at the Morean. I was trying to let you know I posted the helmet that I did for wearable art on facebook, but I can't seem to find a contact mechanism. I'll keep looking. I know I have emailed you before, somehow.

  5. Congratulations on 1 Year!

I'm writing to let you know that the next art show for Stuart Andrews and I is opening at the St. Pete Museum of History on Sat. Sept. 3rd from 5pm-7pm. It will be up for two months after that, too!

  6. Luis, thank you for Art Taco. It's wonderful to have you as a voice for artists and their work in the Bay Area. And a special thanks for the nice article and post on the Morean's "Teacher's Pet" exhibit. We teachers were so delighted to be able to show off our students' works and give them the recognition they so much deserve.
