WAX: Medium Meets Message @ The Morean Arts Center - Leslie Neumann curated this nine artist show. All use encaustic, a type of paint [Link]. Lorrie Fredette's installation will be shown. The Artbook Launch Party @ Gallery 620 - Two game-developers/entrepeneurs have put together their own "Who's who" for artists in the bay Area. The book will be available in partial form for free, digitally at the Apple Store for $10, and there will be a coffee table book as well. Seven-hundred works from one hundred artists are included. If you didn't make it, volume #2 is being put together at the moment. The launch party is at Studio 620, Saturday, March 17th, 7-11 PM. It should be packed. 620 First Ave South, St. Pete. Free.
