At 9:09pm April 9th Sarah Thee "Queen of the Robots" Campagna, along with David "World's most Wonderful Husband" Campagna will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Sarah's arrival on Earth (for this incarnation).
At that moment Dave and Sarah will be at Demens Landing, enjoying the first preview performance of American Stage Theatre Company's production of the Wiz.
You are invited to enjoy some live musical theater under the stars and celebrate with them.
(Yes, it's a Wednesday night, but the price is "Pay What You Can" - which has its advantages.)
DO NOT BRING GIFTS!! The pleasure and surprise of seeing each person who actually shows-up will have Sarah grinning for days and probably hopping-up-and-down a bit ('cause that's what she does) - and this will be MORE than gift enough.
There is no one who is "not invited" to this dealio. We've mostly kept it "invite only" to minimize heckling. Please, if you want to bring someone or know someone who's name slipped past us on the invite list, bring or invite them. The show will be fun and the more the merrier!
The gates open at 6pm, and the show starts at 8.
Because blanket seating is "first come first seated" we are usually waiting at the gate at 6pm.

If you've never attended one of these outdoor productions, there is a large (but not unlimited) area where people spread out blankets to watch the show, and that's where we plan to be. Some people bring a picnic including beverages. THERE WILL NOT BE FOOD FOR SALE on this night because it is a preview night.

Every Friday night the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club opens its doors to shufflers of all ages as different generations gather to play what is becoming the uber-hip game of shuffleboard.
The April 11th Shuffle will feature the Floridiana Bazaar displaying the wares of Florida and American roadside authors and collectors. Participants include writers, photographers, and dealers of Florida vintage ephemera, also known as Floridiana.

The Duncan McClellan Gallery proudly presents “Body and Soul” with Alexis Silk, Deanna Clayton and Richard Logan!
At 5pm on Saturday, April 12th, the gallery doors will open to reveal amazing glass sculptures and photography depicting the human body from the perspectives of three very different artists. From abstract and powerful to dynamic and contemporary, each of these pieces will provide depth, beauty and amazement for all our guests to witness.
Tonight will also be the last glass blowing demo until October 2014 (due to warm weather). Visit us to watch Alexis Silk transform glass into gorgeous figures of the human body.

About the Artists
The work of Alexis Silk is timeless. Working in cast bronze, hot sculpted blown glass and steel she explores interrelationships of humanity, culture and industry. Her primary subject is the human figure, dynamic or at repose, classical, familiar, and rich with meaning. Intrinsic beauty combines with conceptual depth.
Internationally known glass artist, Deanna Clayton, has been working with glass for over twenty years and was introduced to glass right out of high school. Her work fuses the aesthetics of ancient and contemporary techniques using glass techniques that are some of the first casting techniques to be used in history. Her forms are contemporary concepts. Combined they create an object for a contemporary setting with the essence of an archeological find from another era. The use of granulated glass mixed with binders allows her to work with glass as though she were painting a canvas. She uses layer upon layer of color to achieve depth and contrast. The addition of electroplated copper to the edges of the work provides structural integrity as well as a beautiful detail accentuating the intricacy of the cast glass.
Richard Logan is a fine art photographer and painter living in Clearwater, Fl. His career started by putting the colorful people and island scenery onto canvas while he lived in the Caribbean in the 70’s, then becoming a freelance graphic designer in Kansas City, MO in the 80’s to a career in commercial photography in Florida in the 90s, Richard has focused on photography and mixed media and is dedicated to “just creating the kind of art he wants.”
