Out of the 1.5 million people who attend art performance events per day, only slightly less than seven per cent go solo. 41% bring a friend, and 54% a family member.
70% of museum goers bring family along.
This points in the direction that perhaps arts venues should consider creating social networks to assist prospective attendees in meeting like-minded people there, sharing the experience.
