Confession time: I'm not entirely enamoured with Google. Having said that, their new Art Project is a marvelous way to explore the world's greatest art museums and their works in detail, from high rez files. You can also compile your own favorites and start discussions on the work. This looks very interesting, and a good thing for many who wish to expand their knowledge of art, take the Walter Mitty Tour, or want a sneak preview before considering going there in person.
