Wanted: Small Works of Art
Create an original 5” x 7” masterpiece and donate it to be sold to support future artists and musicians
Indian
Rocks Rotary Foundation, through its John J. Todia, III Scholarship
Foundation, is soliciting the support of local artists. They are asking
artists to create a 5”x7” work of art, then donate it to them so it can
be sold as part of an Art Show in the Spring.
Proceeds
from the sale of these small artworks will provide scholarships for
graduating high school seniors seeking to major in Art or Music. Each
piece will be sold for a set price of approximately $35-50, depending on
the number of entries. They will be shown and sold anonymously, so
they are asking artists to sign only on the back of their canvas. Prior
to the event all submittals will be displayed on their website along
with a list of participating artists. After the sale, the sold pieces
will be linked with their artists. Any work not sold at the event will
be available for purchase through the website.
Please
share your time and talents so others can pursue their artistic
dreams. Official Rules and Entry Forms can be obtained at www.smallart4bigheart.org. , participating galleries and/or contact Paul J. Burns at (727)595-4540
