Ansel Adams Trust Wins Settlement

In the case of the mystery garage-sale "Lost Negatives" Rick Norsigian attributed to Ansel Adams -- and was selling prints of as AA's work, a settlement has been arrived at whereby Mr. Norsigian will cease and desist selling them as Adams prints. There was scant evidence to indicate that they belonged to Adams, other than they were of similar subjects.

Connoisseurs suspect the negatives were made by Mr. Earl Brooks, a well-known photographer at the time. Mr. Norsigian was hoping to turn over $200 million USD in sales.
